Stolen Shadows Photography

The name Stolen Shadows was inspired by a poem by T.S. Eliot.

 

Between the idea

And the reality

Between the motion

And the act

Falls the shadows

Between the conception

And the creation

Between the emotion

And the response

Falls the shadows

T.S. Eliot From "The Hollow Men"

 

It almost seemed as if with photography, some how, one could capture that moment between the thought and the realization, that moment in the shadows.The name also made sense when considering photography to be a capturing of light and shadow. As well the belief of some cultures that their soul is stolen by a photograph all lead me to the choosing of the name Stolen Shadows.
